Live oral & poster sessions guidelines
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, NEWCAS 2021 has been moved to a fully virtual conference. We have opted for a format where each contribution will be presented in live during the original dates of the conference.
The conference will mainly consist of the following live sessions: plenaries, oral and poster sessions. Presentation of accepted papers will take place in live oral and poster sessions using Zoom (https://zoom.us/)
The oral presentation (20 minutes) will consist of the oral presentation and Q&A (5 minutes).
The poster presentation (15 minutes) will consist of a short oral presentation and Q&A (5 minutes)
Few days before the conference start, the author (registered email in link with the accepted paper) will be contacted by one of the session chairs or the local organization committee, in order to receive a small resume of the speaker. At the time scheduled, the session manager will give the hand to the speaker to share the slides of the presentation on the common ZOOM display. All speakers should access their session room (10 minutes before the sessions start).
In order to have the corresponding paper (oral or poster) indexed in IEEE Explore one of the Author(s) must present their paper live in the allocated session, be available for discussion and answer questions. It is most important that the presenter (speaker) takes care about a stable and good quality internet connection.
We are looking forward to making NEWCAS 2021 a success within this virtual conference format. We thank all participants for their cooperation in this endeavor.
